What Do You Know About Ceramic Coating?

Protection 

Protection is the most important advantage. Surfaces treated with ceramic coating are well protected against:

• Wear

• UV Radiation/Decolorization

• Contamination

• Acids of organic origin

• Corrosion

Hardening 

The coating and surface harden considerably, up to 9h on the Mohs scale. The paint itself usually has a hardness of 3h or 4h. That is why the surface wears and scratches much less through washing or even intentional scratches. 

Unlike other protective treatments, coatings resist more than 1 year, and can go up to 8 years or even more. It depends on the care, the exposure of the vehicle to the weather, and many other factors. 

Water repellency 

The hydrophobic effect is produced by the smoothness of the surface, and increases in the angle of contact with water and the sealing of the micropores. 

Dirt repellent 

Thanks to the hydrophobic and antistatic effect, dirt takes longer to appear and a self cleaning effect is produced. 

Description of service:

1. Preparing the surface: Before applying the ceramic coating, the surface of the car needs to be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated to ensure that there is no dirt, dust, or other contaminants that could interfere with the bonding of the coating. This may involve washing the car, using clay bars to remove embedded contaminants, and possibly polishing the paint to remove any defects.

2. Applying the coating: Once the surface is clean and free of contaminants, the ceramic coating can be applied. This is typically done using a special applicator pad or cloth. The coating is spread thinly and evenly over the surface, working in small sections at a time to ensure that the coating is applied uniformly.

3. Curing the coating: After the coating has been applied, it needs to be allowed to cure for a period of time. This typically involves leaving the car in a dry, dust-free environment for several hours, or even overnight. During this time, the coating will harden and bond with the surface of the paint.

4. Final inspection: Once the coating has cured, the car can be inspected to ensure that the coating has been applied properly and that there are no defects or areas where the coating has not adhered properly. Any issues can be corrected at this time.

Thorough Cleaning with Specialized Techniques

Treating the hard-to-reach crevices and cracks that are often overlooked. We utilize vapor steam to clean the carpets, door, seats, and cup holder areas. Center console, vents and dashboard. We use special vacuum attachments to get hard-to-reach areas and between seats.

Then, we use an aerospace protectant to protect all interior surfaces. We can also remove seats for deeper cleaning. This service can include: 

Vapor steam and special vacuum attachments

Using the power of vapor steam, we thoroughly clean carpets, doors, seats, cup holder areas, center console, vents, and dashboard. Special vacuum attachments allow us to access hard-to-reach areas and spaces between seats, ensuring a comprehensive clean.

Ozone Treatment for Odor Elimination

As a part of our interior detailing we also use an ozone treatment to eliminate existing odors. We place an ozone generator in your vehicle for a designated amount of time depending on the strength of the odor. As the gas permeates your car, all odor is neutralized and any bacteria or virus is killed.
